You are ready to begin an FXCM account registration procedure with Traders Development

Please choose one of the following options and pass through the online process with our step-by-step guide.

Account opening procedure for new FXCM Accounts

Step 1: Submitting your application

Fill out the FXCM online account application via https://secure2.fxcorporate.com/fxtr/?ib=Traders_Development

  1. Choose USD 100K or USD Mini Trading Account
  2. Choose your Registration Account Option: Individual, Joint, Corporate, Partnership, Trust or LLC.
  3. Click “Open an Account” button.
  4. Fill out all the forms in steps 1-4, and then submit your application.

Step 2: Submitting the LOD Form

  1. Print out and read carefully the LOD (Letter of Direction) Form.

  2. Fill out blank fields:

    1. “Account holder name”
    2. “Print Name of Account Holder”
    3. “Authorized signatory”
    4. “Print Name of Authorized Signatory”
    5. “Date”

    If you have chosen a Joint Account, the joint account holder should fill out “Print Name of Account Holder,” “Authorized signatory,” “Print Name of Authorized Signatory,” “Date” fields.

  3. Submit LOD form to FXCM by:

    1. email (signed and scanned) to info@fxcm.com
    2. fax 1-212-897-7669
    3. or mail to address:
      FXCM
      Financial Square
      32 Old Slip 10th floor
      New York, NY 10005

  4. Assuming all requirements are satisfied, you will receive pending account number by email.

Please note: FXCM may request your ID and Proof of Residence.

Step 3: Funding your account to begin trading

We recommend that you fund your account after you've received an e-mail confirmation that your account set-up is complete.

  1. Fund your account using the pending account number as the reference (information on account funding can be found here: http://www.fxcm.com/depositing-funds.jsp).

  2. Once funds arrive in the name of the account holder, a permanent username will be sent by e-mail. Use this new permanent login information to access the Avalon FX Pro Trading Terminal and begin trading your new account.

Step 4: Getting the Avalon trading software

  1. Download FXCM Direct Avalon FX Pro terminal at the following URL: http://www.tradersdev.com/Downloads/FXProTerminal-4.1-FXCMDirect.exe. Even if you have previously installed FXCM Direct Avalon FX Pro Terminal it is required that you have the latest version installed before you begin live trading with FXCM.
  2. Install FXCM Direct Avalon FX Pro Terminal on your computer.
  3. Select “Live” in “Forex Server” field.
  4. Enter username and password provided by FXCM in step 3 into the FXCM Direct Avalon FX Pro Terminal.
  5. Click “Connect.”
